Running route : From Orgevaux to the summit of Molard
Montreux
Ride of about 1 h 30 min
A magnificent mid-mountain route where it is possible to spot some of the local fauna such as chamois, black grouse or foxes while admiring the breathtaking view. On the way back, it is hard to resist the call of the charming terrace and the excellent cuisine of the Auberge de la Cergniaulaz.

From the Auberge de la Cergniaulaz, take the tarmac road to the right (steep slope for a few hundred metres, then a flat area) in the direction of the Club Alpin de la Planiaz chalet. About 400 metres before the chalet, take the tarmac road on the left and follow it for about 900 metres on a steep slope. At the level of a wooded refuge, do not miss the path on the left which reaches the charming "Goille aux Cerfs" in a few minutes. From here, continue along a small path that climbs pleasantly through soft terrain until it crosses a forest road. Once you arrive at a wooded refuge lined with signs, start the twenty-minute climb to the top of the Molard. Enjoy the impressive panorama that stretches from the Jura to Mont Blanc! For the return journey, go back down to the refuge and turn right towards the chalet de la Forcla via a stony road. It is also possible to retrace your steps!
Anecdote: from May to June the area around the Chalet de la Forcla is covered with flowering rhododendrons. Between September and October, the area is covered with blueberries which can be picked freely.
