Three gold medals, two silver and one bronze at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games, eleven world championship podium finishes between 1981 and 1987: that's why Li Ning is known as the “Prince of Gymnastics”. Winner of the Arthur Gander Memorial in Montreux in 1985, the athlete was presented with a statue in his likeness in 2017 by the Montreux section of the Swiss Gymnastics Federation to mark its 150th anniversary.
