Funicular Territet - Glion
Montreux
Montreux is close to one of Switzerland’s oldest funicular railways, running from Territet to Glion. It’s a 8-minute ride along a giddily steep slope that’s an ideal vantage point for enjoying breath-taking views of Lake Geneva and the Alps, with Chillon Castle in the distance. Leave the funicular at Collonge station midway and walk along the legendary Rose Trail to Montreux old town, or stay on to reach Glion terminus, the ideal point from which to set off for Les Rochers-de-Naye.
